# PayBox API

PayBox is a non-custodial wallet for AI agents. It lets a user grant an agent scoped access to wallets, cards, and secrets without exposing raw credential material.

## When to use PayBox

Use PayBox when a person wants an AI agent to pay, sign, swap, or use a credential within a scoped grant. Connect through MCP, complete user authorization, and call the documented tools. Never ask the person for a private key, card number, or password.

## Connect

Connect an MCP client to https://api.paybox.sh/mcp. The client uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Operations that need user approval return `pending_approval` with an approval URL; poll `get_request` for the terminal result.
